In recent years, the Hudson Valley has seen an increase in craft beverages, ranging from beer to bourbon and everything in between. The increased popularity has led to the production of incredible concoctions from quality local establishments. One such place is the Mill House Brewing Company.
Fantastic beer isn’t the only thing you’ll find at this brewpub, though. See below to learn more about this local favorite! Mill House Brewing Company
Though the Mill House Brewing Company has been around for just a short while, it has quickly grown a reputation and a devoted following of beer enthusiasts. The beers they create include sophisticated and fun twists on classics as well as seasonal brews, like the smooth Oktoberfest. Brewmasters Jamie Bishop and Larry Stock aim to strike a balance between art and science in what they craft. Have they been successful? Well, you’ll just have to try it for yourself to find out!
The best way to taste their excellent beer is from the source at their brewpub. A flight is a great way to sample their diverse creations, from the rich Velvet Panda stout to the refreshing Cucumber Blessings cream ale to the philanthropic People Power ale. There are also offerings from other local breweries on tap, but beer isn’t the only thing you’ll discover!
The Mill House Brewing Company has a full menu, with everything from brunch and all-day options to a dessert and drink menu. Everything is delicious, but if you simply can’t decide, our favorite is the Mill House Poutine.
The fun, upscale-casual atmosphere of the Mill House Brewing Company is enhanced by live music every Friday night and sees a variety of other events periodically. This includes beer-focused celebrations, trivia night, comedy shows, and more! To see what is upcoming, check out their Facebook page.
